About Us

Country Canines is a full service pet grooming salon serving Bertram and the surrounding areas. Our groomer Buffy has been in the grooming business for 15 years, 10 of those in the local area. She is fully trained in all breeds of dogs and cats.

Our goal is to provide a comfortable, relaxed grooming experience for your pets; and we strive to give friendly and professional service to all who come through our doors.

Proof of current vaccinations must be provided prior to grooming services being performed. We cannot accept tags as proof of vaccination. All dogs must be current on Rabies, Parvo-virus, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccinations for their safety and the safety of the other pets in our care. Our Services

We have a wide variety of services to meet your needs. From a basic "bath service" to a "full fancy clip," and everything in between, we can customize your pet's grooming to meet your needs and preferences. We believe that each pet is an individual and their grooming should reflect that. We do not do “cookie cutter” haircuts. Each grooming style is specifically designed to incorporate the owner's wishes and to enhance the pet’s personality, coat, and lifestyle.

Every pet receives a bath, blow-dry, nails clipped, and ears cleaned as part of their service. Tooth brushing and breath spray, nail grinding, and flea and tick treatments are just a few of the add-on services we offer for a small additional fee.

Please remember, we are happy to assist you with the care of your short coated breeds also.

We groom cats on a limited basis. Please call us for information on cat grooming.

Pricing

All prices are based on the size of the pet, condition of the coat, and, if applicable, type of haircut desired. Please call for an estimated price on your pet. All prices given over the phone are ESTIMATES. Once we see and feel your pets coat we can give a firm price.

Pets that are severely matted may incur an additional fee for the removal of the matting.

Owners with 3 or more pets, brought in on the same visit, will receive a discount on the grooming price.

We also offer a “maintenance” plan where your pet will have a standing appointment every week or every two weeks for a bath, blow-dry, and brush out service. Pets on the maintenance plan will receive a discounted haircut price.
